Event Recap
DrillBit participated as a sponsor in the Symposium on Accessible and Inclusive Digital Library (AIDL 2026), held on 6–7 March 2026 at the Convention Centre, IIT Hyderabad. Organised by the Knowledge Resource Centre (Library) of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, the symposium focused on Assistive Technologies, Community Engagement, and Designing Inclusive Library Spaces.
The two-day event brought together library professionals, researchers, technologists, and accessibility experts to explore how digital libraries can be made more accessible and inclusive for all users, including those with visual, motor, auditory, cognitive, and deaf-blind disabilities.
DrillBit's Participation
DrillBit had a speaker session at AIDL 2026, presenting an overview of DrillBit's capabilities and global presence to the symposium audience. The presentation highlighted DrillBit's journey since incorporation in 2016, its offices in Bangalore, India and DrillBit Global Inc. in California, USA, and its reach serving 2500+ institutions and 400,000+ users across 20+ countries.
A memento was presented to the DrillBit representative on stage, recognising DrillBit's contribution as a sponsor. DrillBit also had an exhibition booth where delegates could engage with the platform directly.
